On July 8, 2009 the Scientific Arts Foundation sent 20 CDs to the Combat Stress Team in COB Adder, Iraq for use in the Chaplain's offices and the Army Medical Departments. Every donation is making a difference! Thank you.
On July 4, 2008, SSgt. Jessie, a Combat Stress Control specialist working in a clinic overseas, emailed and asked for help. She needed some way to help her soldiers de-stress, reduce anxiety and get to sleep. She knew that the initial research with "The Magic Mirror" CD helped normalize brain function and induce relaxation. SSgt. Jessie needed CDs for her soldiers...
and that's how Help Soldiers Sleep began.

The Scientific Arts Foundation sent 10 "The Magic Mirror" CDs to Ft. Carson, CO on 8/16/08 to use in their 'wounded warriors in transition' unit. They serve over 750 soldiers. Please donate today so we can send them more CDs ASAP.

15 CDs were sent to a nurse to use in the clinic at Scott Air Force Base
Help Soldiers Sleep is collecting donations to send CDs to Ft. Carson, CO

In response to SSgt. Jessie's request, the Scientific Arts Foundation Board of Directors voted to immediately implement a new Community Outreach Program called, "Help Soldiers Sleep."
The Scientific Arts Foundation mailed our inaugural care package of 50 "The Magic Mirror" CDs on Friday, July 11, 2008 for SSgt. Jessie to use with her troops immediately.
An estimated 300,000 members of the U.S. armed services are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Symptoms of the disorder vary and can include irritability, sleep difficulties, trouble concentrating, and an exaggerated startle response. Source:Reuters

I'm currently deployed and will be for the next 5 months. I was curious to know if the organizations you work with would be willing to put together a care package including your CDs for the troops here. We have a lot of sleep and anxiety and stress problems in the clinic here.

Wow, wasn't expecting a reply so fast. Thank you! I know our soldiers will appreciate being able to sleep if nothing else. I love your CDs for that and a bad day. As far as numbers, 25-50 would be wonderful. I understand if you can't send that many, but I know it will be appreciated...
